Constructed using Dimension Polyant's X-Pac waterproof laminate fabric, Mil-Spec 6.6 Nylon Webbing and YKK Aquaguard Zipper for a highly durable and weather resistant finish. The white backing of X-Pac fabric diffuses ambient light helping you find specific items in your bag. D/P X-Pac also remains durable and flexible even in sub-zero temperatures making the Captain’s Duffel ideal for year-round use! Wraparound handles ensure long lasting durability. Attach up to two internal pockets to accommodate your organizational needs and use the two removable compression straps to secure any unruly cargo!

I Purchased the Captains Duffel at the wasilla Sportsman show. I own and operate Mahays Jetboat Adventures out of Talkeetna, AK. I captain on the rivers every day! The Captains duffel was my main boat bag and performed great! I highly recommend it!

The Wrangell Duffel bag is tough as nails! We used the bag as our ATV tool/emergency bag fully loaded with ratchet straps, tow straps, tarp, air pump, rope, tools, extra oil, and few other items. The bag could hold the weight no problem! The detachable straps worked perfectly for securing the bag. Only issue occurred during a prolonged overnight rainstorm when we left the bag in the back of the ATV and moisture got in the bag. The bag is weatherproof but not waterproof, it can definitely withstand a light rain for a bit but not an entire evening of non stop rain. We will continue to utilize this bag for seasons to come as it looks like it’s going to last for years! Material is tough and rugged and there is almost no abrasion or rubs after a long 6 months of heavy use. Would 100% recommend the bag for Alaska adventures minus leaving it out in a rainstorm.

Ive been using the captain's duffels for 4 months now as emergency bags in my commercial aircraft and the durability and ideal size for small bush planes makes this a fantastic addition to keeping the essentials for safe travel in Alaskas backcountry tidy and organize throughout the seasons of a year round air taxi operation. I recommend them to all my clients as the way to pack gear!

I’ve been using the meat sling since 2019 and I have packed out 8 moose with it. The pocket in the front is perfect for a headlamp, knives, and game bags. The fabric makes it easy to clean up. I typically dunk it the river or spray it down with a hose.

I’ve used this bag two hunts so far and I couldn’t be happier. The way the bag compresses empty is great when hunting out of a spike camp. When the bag is full, the compression straps keep the load stable and secure. I own a Kuiu, Stone glacier, and Barney’s bag and nothing matches the durability and functionality of the Wrangell bag.

I got this bag off of the prize table at a local hunting event. The bag is well made and fits quite a bit of stuff. As a pilot I immediately thought of using at as my go to plane bag, loaded with tools, survival equipment and cold weather emergency equipment. Fits perfectly in the back and has no issues carrying the equipment. Had about 45 pounds of gear in it and I feel like it could hold more weight in it. Overall good product, 5 stars for ease of use, Weight and durability.

I purchased this bag for daily use as a gym bag and to throw my junk in for weekend/camping trips. It exceeds my expectations, the amount of little features packed into such a simple bag is amazing. The little clip out bag is great for toiletries at the gym. The fabric and zippet is waterproof so I don't have to worry about a little rainstorm soaking my gear. Last off, how the shoulder strap routes under the bag to support its contents is brilliant and means there will be less stress on the stiching which is what ultimately failed and destroyed my last gym bag. I'm sure I will have this bag will see atleast a solid 10 years of daily use.

I bought one of your packs and used it for the first time this spring guiding a couple brown bear hunts, and then again this August guiding two sheep hunts. I wanted to let you know that I think it is top notch, especially after using it for sheep hunting. I have been a diehard barneys guy forever, basically since I started guiding 20 yrs ago, but your pack is hands down better. Way less "slop and wiggle" with the bag, which is really nice. I also love the two side pouches, one for a spotting scope and the other side for a tripod. I never did like the small side pockets on the barneys. I also like the narrower but taller bag design rather than the super wide design of the Barneys. I did like the material you use as well. The strap system is particularly awesome. I can compact my pack down and tighten it up so much better than my barneys, eliminating wiggle.
One thing I did not like was the lack of a back pocket. Thanks for the great piece of gear. I am a fan!

Makes packing out those big loads way easier secures the meat tight to the frame doesn’t come loose. Way faster than trying to tie or bungie strap your load.

Worked amazing was able to throw my meat in there tighten it up and helped a lot for hiking out by keeping it compact onto the frame. Makes the load way more comfortable

Amazing quality bag. I was able to fit a sheep and my whole camp in the bag and still had room everything stayed dry and it held everything very compact and never came loose so no slopping around. Best pack in the game
